Beyonce Poses For Jay Z On Luxury Yacht

Written on: January 2, 2009         Filed Under: Beyonce, jay z

Jay Z looked like he was enjoying the view as he spent New Years on a luxury yacht - and it wasn’t the scenery he was admiring.

Beyonce Knowles posed for pictures as her rapper husband captured their treasured memories with his camera.

The couple then got close by cuddling up.

The Crazy In Love singer also had a splash on a jet ski and water trampoline as she flaunted her curves in a sun dress.

The pair are holidaying in St. Barts in the Caribbean and were seen aboard luxurious 50 foot yacht the Galaxy, which they are renting at a reported cost of $200,000 a week.

Not small spenders then.

PHOTOS COMING SOON.

Beyonce Starts 2009 Atop The Hot 100

Written on: January 2, 2009         Filed Under: Beyonce

Beyonce begins 2009 with a fourth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It),” which also enjoys a seventh frame leading Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. The track sold a massive 382,000 downloads last week according to Nielsen SoundScan, a 157% increase.

Near-record digital sales drive Lady GaGa’s “Just Dance” featuring Colby O’Donis up 3-2; the song sold 419,000 downloads, the second biggest single-week sum of all time behind Flo Rida’s 467,000 from the same week last year.

T.I.’s “Live Your Life” featuring Rihanna slips 2-3, as Kanye West’s “Heartless” holds at No. 4 as the fastest growing track at radio and Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” jumps 7-5. Katy Perry’s “Hot N Cold” remains No. 6 and Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” slides 5-7.

Rounding out the top portion of the Hot 100, West’s “Love Lockdown,” T.I.’s “Whatever You Like” and Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” all are unchanged at Nos. 8-10.

Nickelodeon star Miranda Cosgrove’s cover of Sugababes’ “About You Now” is the top debut at No. 51. The song was released last June on the “iCarly” soundtrack but is now doing strong digital business after a performance on Macy’s Thankgiving Day parade; it sold 74,000 copies last week.

Rascal Flatts’ “Here” starts a second week at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs, and Billboard’s rock charts are unchanged, with Kings Of Leon’s “Sex on Fire” in a fourth week atop Modern Rock and Shinedown leading Mainstream Rock for a third with “Second Chance.”

Beyonce Voted The #1 Best Dressed Celebrity Of 2008

Written on: December 24, 2008         Filed Under: Beyonce, news

If she were a boy, she probably wouldn’t have made our list at all (the guys closest to the Top 10 were Kanye West and David Beckham). But Beyonce shook herself all the way to #1 with readers voting her the #1 Best Dressed Celebrity of 2008. 1. Beyonce: Beyonce had a relatively quiet start to 2008, but when she came back, she came back hard… and in style. Performances, red carpets and more showed Beyonce trying on some futuristic looks, including a robot glove that I firmly believe can be used to shoot explosions at anyone who gets in her way.

2. Rihanna: Rihanna was EVERYWHERE this year and she always managed to look like a star, earning her enough votes to situate her right behind the Queen B.

3. Katy Perry: Katy Perry hit the scene with all her old-school pin-up style flare, and it proved to be a sexy, classic style all her own.

4. Hilary Duff: Hilary Duff had a relatively quiet year this year but she made enough of an impression on our readers with her simple, sexy style. Expect to see a lot more of Hilary next year with four movies in the can and a new development deal with NBC.

5. Jennifer Aniston: We saw her dressed up and dressed down…way down.. She was nude on the cover of GQ. But she definitely looked better than ever on an array of magazine covers, premieres and a hilarious stint on “30 Rock.”

6. Anne Hathaway: The “Get Smart” star’s sophisticated style proved that the Devil might wear Prada, but Anne looks good in anything.

7. Britney Spears: Britney hasn’t exactly been a style icon for years, but even her wardrobe made a comeback this year, showing off her slim new figure in performances and a daringly low-cut designer dress on her birthday.

8. Heidi Klum: Klum lit up the screen every Wednesday night on Project Runway with gorgeous, fashion-forward looks that made us wish she could model all the designer looks.

9. Victoria Beckham: The Spice Girl has always been known for her “major” style and readers felt this year was no exception.

10. Reese Witherspoon: Witherspoon didn’t show off her acting chops this year (”Four Christmases,” anyone?) but she did look radiant showing off plenty of designer duds at the premieres.
