Beyonce had a very successful album with “B-Day” and after its initial release; she re-released the album with a DVD filled with music videos for the singles. She appears to be duplicating her success with the “I Am…Sasha Fierce” album.

Fans have been trying to guess what the next single off of the Beyonce side of her “I Am” album would be and with this release, we see that the song is “Broken-Hearted Girl”. This soft ballad goes along with “Ego” from the Sasha side.

Most people had stuck to the guess that Ava Maria would be her next ballad, but its not clear if Beyonce plans to use that song as a single.

It is interesting to note that while this disc set has 6 official videos and one fan made video, Beyonce does plan to release more videos in the future. With the B-Day album, she released all of the videos on her 2 disc set and never released any others after the release.

The 2-disc set is titles “Above and Beyoncé Video Collection & Dance Mixes” and comes with both a CD and DVD, and they contain:

A big boost for the CD portion of the set, are the remixes of her popular singles, including her “Ego” featuring Kanye West, a musician who is known for his famous ego.

Above and Beyond can be pre-ordered now at stores or websites such as Tower Records, but the album will not be released until June 16, 2009.
